Episode 12 is On The Air

Kevin Rose, Robert Heron, Leo Laporte

... since about 5:30 this morning, when I finished uploading ye new TWiT files. The torrents have been ramping up for an hour and a half... and lo and behold, the TWiT Torrents link on the left side of this page has finally updated.

Hope ya like it... Kevin Rose, Robert Heron and I mix up news, the saga of our latest hardware crashes (Robert and I), our common lust for new TV sets (anybody wanna buy Kevin's 250 pound HDTV CRT so he can buy a new LCD or Plasma HDTV?), Robert's tips for fun things to do near Las Vegas (Shotguns!), and viewer questions about using Baluns to share TV, our reccos on which 25 inch LCD TV to buy, suggestions on free backup software... and in what seems to be an eternal quest shared by quite a few of ya'll, info on whether an external hard drive will connect to a pair of computers simultaneously, one via its USB port and one via its 1394 port.

There's also the thrilling details of a trip to the San Francisco Dump, the saga of an exploding LCD panel, and Kevin's hot tips on getting the best bargains at computer faires without getting ripped off.

And, hey, we also talk about graphics cards, my new power supply and the truly annoying noise that only a 7,000 RPM northbridge fan can make.

I'll be typing up proper notes and links later today after I finish editing a script for a show I'm shooting. And shoot the show. And maybe eat lunch if I don't pass out.

wheeeee!
